Latest EU Council Regulation – banned vessels

New EU sanctions specifically prohibit the bunkering 27 vessels. Going forward, the list of vessels shall include vessels that:

  1. Supported Russia’s defence & security sector.
  2. Transported crude oil & oil products from Russia while practising high-risk shipping practises.
  3. Supported Russia’s energy sector.
  4. Loaded grain “stolen” from Ukraine.
  5. Transported goods from the EU to Russia that are subject to an export ban.
  6. Was operated in such a way that facilitates violation or circumvention of sanctions.
  7. Are owned, chartered, or operated by entities sanctioned by the EU.
